Eddyline Anglers was founded by a seasoned fishing and whitewater guide with training in wildlife and fisheries science. Our focus is on creating enriching fishing adventures while teaching you the skills to become a better angler. We only work with veteran guides to make sure you feel as comfortable as possible on the water. Our guides all have more than 10 years of experience, are capable class V whitewater boaters, and are swift water rescue trained.
Meet Your Guides
My name is Bill Lehrter, and I'm the owner and founder of Eddyline Anglers. I was fortunate to grow up with a fantastic smallmouth stream in the front yard, and I can't remember a time when I wasn't obsessed with Smallies. After studying Wildlife and Fisheries Science in college, I began guiding fishing, hunting, and whitewater in 2011 and never looked back. The outdoor industry has given me the opportunity to fish all over the country, but the rivers and streams of West Virginia will always be home.
Adam Hedrick
Adam (Shark Bite) Hedrick is a West Virginia native, and one of the fishiest people you'll ever meet. He's been a commercial fisherman in the Pacific, chased rainbow trout in the mountains of Costa Rica, and caught monster browns in the Rockies. Shark Bite started guiding on the New and Gauley Rivers in 2003. He's fantastic on the oars, and is an innovative fly tier. If you want to get into the nitty gritty of smallmouth fly design, this is the guide for you!
Dusty Keenan
WV native Dusty Keenan is a second generation river guide and US military veteran. Dusty is that buddy that always seems to catch the biggest fish on any given day, no matter the species you're after. When he's not musky fishing in the snow or archery hunting, Dusty and his wife Felicia (also an accomplished river guide) are probably on the water fishing with their three kids.
